Cybershot or bust with the Sony cameras. I have a DSC-F505V and am very happy with it. It's fallen out of a golf cart and i've banged it up a few times but with the optional case it's been absolutely bulletproof. The picture quality is good, here's a shot that was taken in 1280X960 (the 2nd smallest setting after 640X480, the largest size I can snap is 2240X1680 which usually turns into about a 4mb picture). This ones been resized but you get a feeling for the fullness of the picture and the lack of graininess: 
I usually use this picture to show off the camera because if you look at the hood, all the reflections are clear and you can actually tell some of the individual pine needles apart. later, amir
